Skills Development Scotland(SDS) digital team are looking for a talented web developer to be involved in leading, scoping and developing using .NET, Javascript, Angular within an Umbraco environment on Azure and working closely with others in the team on the integration of content, data and designs.

Candidate Requirements:

You’ll have demonstrable equivalent work-based experience or be educated to HND (SCQF level 8) in a Computer Science subject or related discipline. You’ll be a self-motivator and be great at solving complex problems who enjoys working with a small team and having a real influence in shaping digital products. 

You’ll have experience creating and managing websites and web apps, working with existing code as well as adding new features and enhancements. 

You’ll have a clear understanding of the development lifecycle with experience of writing clean, well-engineered code, while being respectful of development standards and best practices. In addition to an excellent knowledge of at least one JavaScript framework (preferably Angular), relational databases, C# .NET, SQL server, Visual Studio and GIT. 

Above all, you’ll have a strong commitment to continuing personal development, with a passion for digital and an enjoyment of the challenges and opportunities that working in fast paced industry can bring.
